In my last entry, when I say that I think newspapers will be around for a little awhile, let me be clear that my clarity hasn’t been drowned in idealistic naivete: readership numbers are low. Really low. Plummeting. But I think if print journalism can evolve (which it will because it has to) and regain those eyeballs, all will not be totally Lost island. Moreover, it would be a shame if inked text were to die off completely if only for the romantic/nostalgic value of it.

I agree with you, but I admit I’m a heavy offender. I don’t think I’ve bought a paper since the late 90’s to be honest. Now with my iPhone and all of the news apps easily available, they’ve just made it too easy for me.
